Report on Prof. Hayashida’s business trip to India

From the 4th to the 10th of October, Prof. Hayashida, Aakash project leader, has been to Delhi, India.

She gave a keynote lecture at the International conference “Air Pollution in Delhi NCR and north India during winter: Causes and remedies at Bhaskaracharya College, Delhi University, on 6th October. more detail

After the Lecture, she exchanged opinions with one of the WG2 members Prof. S. Dhaka(Rajdhani College, University of Delhi, India), Dr. Narendra Singh(Aryabhatta Research Institute of observational sciences, India), and Prof. A.P. Dimri(Jawaharlal Nehru University, India) about the research plan of the observation campaign employing the CUPI network deployed in Northwestern India.

On the 7th, visited Ms. Mihoko Nagai, a Secretary (Environment) of the Economic Section Embassy of Japan in India, and discussed ways in which Japan can cooperate in reducing air pollution in Delhi.

Those are one of the Indian cuisines she ate, it looks very delicious!
