Activity report

Aakash Project has been completed!

As of March 31, 2025, the Full Research period of the Research Project “An Interdisciplinary Study Toward Clean Air, Public Health and Sustainable Agriculture: The Case of Crop Residue Burning in North India” (Aakash Project) promoted by Research Institute for Humanity and Nature has ended. After an Incubation study that began in 2018, the six-and-half-year research activity has successfully closed. We would like to thank all researchers, government agencies, NPOs/NGOs, and other stakeholders in Japan and India for their understanding and cooperation in the project research activities.

During the three-year period beginning in FY2025, we plan to publish our research activities in the journal papers and other publications as a Completed Project research period for disseminating the results of our work. Many publications are already planned, so please look forward to the future development of the Aakash project!
